Who draws the designs?

Allie, age 4, our first artist. Every design starts as a real drawing on real paper.

Do you redraw or "fix" the artwork?

No. We clean the paper away for printing and leave the good stuff alone. The crooked ray, impossible idea, extra line, or strange color is usually the whole point.

Can I put my own kid's drawing on a tee?

Yes. Upload a photo of the drawing and you'll see it on the shirt right away. Choose the Front & Back tee (small on the chest, big on the back) or the one-sided tee (big print for kids, chest print for grown-ups). Every tee carries the tiny DoodleKind signature in the bottom right corner. We remove the paper background and keep the drawing exactly as it is.

How should I photograph the drawing?

Lay it flat on a plain surface, shoot straight on in daylight or good even light, and keep the whole drawing in frame. Avoid shadows, flash glare and blurry shots. A phone photo is perfect. If something about the file looks off, we'll email you before it prints.

Can adults and kids match?

Yes, that's the idea. Every drawing comes as a kids' tee and a grown-up tee with the same front-and-back print. See Matching. Any 2 or more tees get 10% off automatically at checkout.

How is each tee made?

Every Doodlekind tee is printed to order on soft, quality cotton (Bella + Canvas), then shipped to you. Making things only when they're ordered means no warehouses of unsold stuff.

How long does it take?

Production usually takes 2 to 5 business days, then shipping takes 3 to 8 business days in Canada and the US, a little longer elsewhere. Custom drawing tees can take a day longer because a real person checks every file first.

Do you ship outside Canada?

Yes. We ship to the United States and most countries worldwide. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and you can shop in your local currency using the country selector at the top of the page. Duties or import taxes outside Canada, if any, are the recipient's responsibility.

Can I exchange for a different size?

Because every tee is made to order, we can't offer size or color exchanges after production. Check the size guide before ordering, and if something arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, contact us within 30 days and we'll make it right.
